WOW! English Methodology
-
Using Games and Movement
Our method is based on learning through experience and activity. Games and movement-based activities spark children’s curiosity and desire to explore. Playing becomes a natural motivation to communicate, and physical movement helps create a relaxed and engaging learning atmosphere.

Engaging All the Senses
Foreign language teaching should involve a variety of sensory stimuli such as games, drawing, musical and movement-based activities. With this approach, the WOW!English method activates all of the child’s senses, making the most of every lesson minute for effective learning.
-
The Drive to Understand
Our method taps into children’s natural desire to understand and be creative. Children respond to Steve’s signals and gestures, learning language by imitating the sounds from songs, stories, and character actions. The teacher supports this process with visuals, puppets, and facial expressions. This way, children acquire English the same way they learn their native language. -

Stimulating Imagination through Storytelling
Teachers create a magical, storybook atmosphere that stimulates children’s imagination. Thanks to this, kids can interact with stories, fairy tales, and songs in a foreign language just as naturally as in their first language. Steve and Maggie create a wonderful, magical world that is incredibly engaging for children.
-
Variety, Repetition, and Reinforcement
Due to children’s short attention span, lessons should be dynamic and diverse. It’s recommended to switch activities every few minutes and balance between energizing and calming exercises. Repeating familiar games and activities regularly builds children’s confidence. Since the process of absorbing a new language before actively using it can take time, it's important to reduce stress through group singing 🎤 and chanting rhymes together.

By following these principles, the WOW!English method allows children to acquire English naturally – and therefore effectively – through active, stress-free participation in lessons at your school.
